Complexity Switched On – Academic Formal Tone and Oversimplification

Simple things might be more attractive, but the life might include the complex ideas as well. These complications cannot be summed up in a few simplistic words, and even if simplified, the underlying concept could lose its seriousness or depth.

Difficult ideas need strong substance. Sometimes, the simple words can perform better even in a highly technical discussion. Most of the times, a form of Communication Barrier exists between the Technically Well-versed Individuals and their non-technical counterparts. In this scenario, use of a simpler casual tone is strongly highlighted.

Academic and Formal Contents, such as those encountered in the Contracts or the Policy Documents, need a lot of patience and specialised knowledge-base for making some sense. And thus, in the eyes of a non-industry person, such a content is of no value, other than being a nonsensical item that cannot be deciphered easily.

As such, one shall improve her or his language and communication skillset in order to guard against the possible challenges in one's life. A human lives in a social complex, and this system is made available due to the various subsystems that rely on documentation. The Act of Documentation itself has zero productivity, but the golden opportunities for the potential improvements are discovered only after the careful study of these objects.

Patterns exist across the daily routines which we conduct. These patterns might include innumerable variables such as the quality of the air we breathe in or the amount of fuel we consume. Unfortunately, this data is not always accessible in an electronic database format. Digital Literacy for the entire population of the planet Earth in a few years, is essentially a daydream. It is a long-term process, and till its ultimate culmination, the traditional forms of recording and maintaining the details will stay omnipresent.

From a difficulty point of view, if a human being can perform her or his daily duties relying on the basic abilities of writing and reading, there seems no incentive for her or him, to absorb new skills and pursue more efficient technological tools. The Added Cost to the Operations due to the Procurement of the Modern Devices, is another deterent factor, which discourages the enterprises from upgrading their legacy technologies.

At the end of the day, we are empowered with the ability to choose. Whether to continue consuming the hyper-simplified childish content or to sharpen our language skills, is entirely our own call to make. And though the web rampant with the advocates of the over-simplication clan, the readers themselves ought to opt for the optimal solutions. If there are none, create one, yourself!
